We fit solar panels, battery storage and EV chargers right across Scotland, and we do it the way we’d want it done in our own homes: properly, honestly, and without the hard sell.

Our Story
Energy Heroes is owned and run by partners John Robertson and Andrea Mabon, with John bringing 20 years of experience in the electrical and solar trade to the company.
We were founded in 2018 and started life as an electrical contracting business — but solar was always where the heart was. John was involved in solar through its early boom years, back when the technology was first taking off, and has watched it come a long way since. The panels have got better, the prices have come down, and battery storage has transformed what solar can do for a home — letting you store the power you generate and use it on your own terms, day or night.
So we moved back into solar, and four years on it’s the heart of everything we do. Local, accountable, and genuinely on the customer’s side, we’ve helped homeowners the length and breadth of Scotland cut their bills, take control of their energy, and get more from the sun than they ever pay the grid.
We’re MCS, NAPIT, TrustMark and RECC accredited, so every solar and battery install is independently checked against the highest standards in the trade. But the accreditations are the floor, not the ceiling — what actually matters is the work, and we’d rather be judged on that.

When your project is complete we will supply all the relevant documents you require to start being paid on the solar energy you export.
Flexible payment options
We have various payment options allowing you to pay your system over a maximum period of 25 years at just 7.9% typical APR.
Remote Monitoring
We monitor every project we complete to guarantee efficient solar energy production and to address systems not performing as they should be.
A Tree For You
As part of our service and to fully embrace our eco beliefs we will have a tree planted in your name by the Scottish Heritage Trust with every order.
Comprehensive Warranty
We issue a 10 year wormanship warranty on every project we do and we also insure it with Home Improvement Protection for maxiumum peace of mind.
